We just returned from Believers Youth Camp! What a wonderful week of being in a godly atmosphere, filled with Holy Ghost preaching, along with fun and fellowship. After Thursday night service, many campers gathered around the bonfire to share what God had done for them that week. One camper shared how he did not want to come to camp. He thought the people at camp was "creepy" but thanks be to God, his life was changed and he was going home a different person. No two campers are alike. Some campers have grown up in a godly environment and have attended church every time the doors were open. Other campers, come from broken homes and only attend church occasionally due to circumstances beyond their control. But, each camper has one thing in common and that is like us all, they need God to transform their life and that is what BYC is all about.
Many campers expressed that they were sad to see BYC come to a end. Once again, we would all return to Satan's eden and that is where the test would begin. But, God is faithful and I believe He has done a work in the lives of many campers that will "hold them."
May God bless each one that sacrificed their time, money and energy to come as a worker, leader or minister. BYC is an example of what can be accomplished for the Lord, when His people pull together in true unity for a cause that will reap eternal benefits.
