Testimony: Our God never fails

Greetings Believers,

I want to take the time to thank you all for your prayers during this trial. It is at someones lowest point when faith is needed and tested. For we must believe: Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. – James 1:3-4 KJV

When all is well on the mountaintop you rarely think of the trials in the valley. Waking up chocking and not being able to breathe was one of the scariest experiences I’ve ever had. I was admitted to the  hospital for one week  due to lack of oxygen; because every time I coughed I choked coughing up really thick sputum. My throat had swelled up so much that it seemed as if each time I coughed someone was squeezing my neck.  I had a lot of believers praying for me. Staying positive was key because it’s at that lowest moment in time when satan will try and drag you down all the way. I was waking up almost every morning choking and gasping for air and yet confessing  my healing as a believer should. The thought kept coming to me (regarding healing), God never said  do you feel it? He said, do you believe it!?” The choking and gasping for air occurred at least 5 times everyday. After several tests the doctors diagnosed  it as mycoplasma pneumonia, acid reflex and treated me for whooping cough or pertussis. After a few appointments I got a diagnosis for acid reflux. Apparently I had too little acid forming in my stomach which was causing all the forceful pain and causing my throat to cramp up not allowing me to breathe.

By Gods grace the choking is now gone and and my oxygen level is normal. I have been out of work and resting at home. It truly was a heavy load on me and drained me so much so, that I have been at home getting lots of rest. I appreciate all your prayers!! Jesus Christ is truly the same yesterday, today, and forever! HE IS LIFE ETERNAL!! My healing was settled on Calvary. Saying it is one thing. Believing it is an absolute must! For that is what we are, believers! By His stripes we WERE healed! Therefore I confess: I AM HEALED!! That is why believing is my victory!

I’ll be honest, I thought I was going to die and I was ready to leave this earth. I kept thinking of why I didn’t die and the best and only answer I came up with is:

HE’S NOT FINISHED WITH ME YET! Tomorrow is not promised; I want to live the rest of my life serving God and being thankful in knowing I AM one of them!!

I am studying up on the sermon Brother Branham preached in 1947 “Faith Is The Substance”. It’s actually the first recorded sermon of his on record. Many of you may have read it or listened to it. If you have, that’s very fine; do it again and again!! If you haven’t, I encourage you to please do so!! I am absolutely positively sure it will increase your faith as it has mine and truly make you ask yourself the same question as me: “Do I have the faith it takes?” Gods faith is what it’s all about!! If we lay aside every obstacle of unbelief, and doubt, faith will move mountains: “actual mountains”.

It’s amazing to me that it’s the first sermon in the 1947 series, and the title alone makes me shout for joy! This whole Message is built on faith. Without faith I myself would find it difficult to believe. It’s no wonder God had it ordained before the foundation of the world that the title of the first recorded sermon in 1947 would be “Faith Is The Substance”. Faith is exactly what  we need!! I pray that God gives me and each and everyone of you more faith. Brother Branham said: “Well, if we can’t have faith enough for Divine healing, how we going to have a rapturing faith?” Wow! That’s so true!! We are so close to home!! Let’s build up our faith – so we can finally go home. God bless you all 🙂

 – confess your healing until you actually believe it!

Your Brother, Joshua Romero
