Beginning on December 6, 2013, started a hard, but beautiful period of time for me. I have mobile home rentals, and one day, I saw a member of the Sheriff Department go down the drive of the home where I had just evicted a couple. I followed him as he came out, and asked him what he was doing. He said he was looking for Mollie. I answered that I was Mollie. He then handed me a paper with a court date on it. The woman that I had evicted claimed that I had pushed her while talking with her.
The first court date was January 17, 2014. My son who had been with me when this incident was supposed to have happened, went to court with me. We were there all day. The next court date was set for February 17, 2014. We went back when they called our name, but then they told us to stay in the court room. We were there until mid-afternoon. I had gone downstairs to the restroom and when I came back my son Luther told, me the woman had been talking to the D.A. In a little while, a man called our name and we were asked to follow him. I asked him who he was, and he said he was a mediator. As soon as I stepped out of the courtroom door into the hall a voice spoke to me and said, “don’t you do anything, just ask her to withdraw the charges.” I told my son what I had heard. The four of us went down stairs into a room. My son could not go into the room. Inside, the man asked me if I wanted to go through mediation. I said, “No sir. I’m asking that she withdraw the charges because she lied on me and she knows that she lied.” The woman cried out “and nothing’s going to happen to me.” He calmed her down and then he spoke with me again. The woman interrupted again. He sent her back to the courtroom. He then came down and sat on a bench behind me and talked for a while. The case was moved up to March 24, 2014. She did not show up at court, so the case was dismissed. I am glad I said just what my Lord told me to say.
I desire to share these verses with you. Matthew 10:19-20 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
